This is a work-from-home, part-time position with a flexible schedule (15-30 hours per week), which can include weekends and early evening shifts based on your availability. This is an entry position ($14-$16 per hour depending on experience) with career opportunities in a quickly growing start-up company.
Essential Duties
- Engage CDL drivers about job opportunities that fit their profile. This role is primarily focused on outbound calling to Drive My Way community CDL drivers. This is not a sales position.
- Educate CDL job seekers about matched job opportunities (phone, email, text, and chat).
- Review, update and assist with registering drivers and updating their profiles.
- Serve as driver-facing subject matter expert on the specific job opportunities and hiring requirements for our clients.
- Facilitate Q&A between drivers and hiring managers and provide feedback to clients about how their jobs are being received by job seekers.
- Support client-specific processes including driver inviting, screening and scheduling.
- Maintain driver relationships to increase engagement, demonstrate the value of our technology and services, troubleshoot problems and provide exceptional customer service.
- In collaboration with the Customer Support Team Leaders and Customer Success Managers, understand customer goals and help activate driver engagement strategies to support them.
- Represent the voice of the customer by providing feedback to the Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams for improvements.
- Maintain driver and job level information in our Client Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Manage & create reports to help track our performance on driver engagement by client and across clients.
Education and Experience
- Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in entrepreneurship, marketing, communications, human resources, business or other related fields.
- 1+ years of experience in a service-oriented client facing role, such as, but not limited to customer success, account management, customer service, talent acquisition, sales, business development, etc.
- Experience using phone, text, chat in a customer support role strongly preferred.
- Experience or working knowledge of recruiting and/or the trucking/transportation industry a plus.
Knowledge and Skills for Success
- Ability to learn and use a variety of technologies and services (voice, chat, SMS) to engage drivers. You must be a quick learner and very comfortable with a variety of technologies (primarily browser based).
- Enjoys spending time engaging job seekers and helping them find jobs that meet their needs. This position requires significant time talking with truck drivers seeking jobs.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented with excellent data entry skills.
- Exceptionally organized and disciplined with a high level of reliability and follow through.
- Able to multi-task and move between accounts and drivers with ease.
- Proactive, fast learner, with demonstrated ability to wear multiple hats and thrive in a fast-paced, ever evolving start-up environment.
