Great Lakes Cold Logistics is seeking CDL A OTR Refrigerated Company Drivers and Team Drivers nationwide.
Great Lakes Cold Logistics, LLC is seeking Company Team Drivers to haul refrigerated freight to customers throughout the United States. Drivers will be pulling 53 foot temperature controlled trailers with primarily meat, fresh produce, beverages and other refrigerated food. Most loads are live load and unload no touch freight. We have loads to accommodate your need to balance between home time and making a great living. Drivers choose Great Lakes Cold Logistics to build their career at a place they call home.
Compensation
Company Drivers
- Base starting at $ 0.55 CPM practical miles with an average of 2,800 miles weekly
- An annual raise increase of $.01 CPM up to $.60 CPM
- Pay is performance based increases after 90 days
- Additional Pay: Detention pay ($15), Layover pay ($150 per day), Progressive Extra Stop Pay starting at $25 for second stop and $10 addition thereafter up to $50.
- All miles paid, loaded and unloaded
Team Drivers
- Base pay per team starting at $ 0.66 CPM with an average of 5,800 miles weekly per team
- Paid via direct deposit weekly
- Pay is performance based increases after 90 days;
- Additional Pay: Detention pay ($15), Layover pay ($150 per day), Progressive Extra Stop Pay starting at $25 for second stop and $10 addition thereafter up to $50.
- All miles paid, loaded and unloaded
All Drivers
- Sign-on Bonus after 90 days – $2,500 then an additional $2,500 after 120 days
- Bonuses based on all miles driven and paid twice per year
- Safety Bonus depending on performance
- Service Bonus depending on performance
- Clean Inspection Bonus – $50 per inspection
- Driver referral Bonus after 90 days – $5,000
- Bonuses based on all miles driven and paid twice per year
- Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Routes & Schedule
- Home Time: 3-4 days home time every 3-4 weeks for OTR. Multiple home time options are available based upon where you live. We will do our best to work with to meet your needs and desired home time
- No slip seating
- Schedule: varies on driver and need
Level of Touch: No Touch Freight / live load and unload
Equipment
- Fleet is 2018 or newer, including Freightliner and International
- Entire fleet are all manual transmissions – no restrictions
- Governed speed: 70 mph
- Have inward /outward facing cameras
Qualifications for Company Drivers and Owner Operators
- Must be at least 23 years of age
- Must have CDL A license
- Must have a minimum of 1 years verifiable OTR tractor-trailer driving experience
- No DUI/DWIs or reckless driving charges in last 5 years
- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
- Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen and a new DOT physical
