PWD Transportation, Inc. is currently seeking CDL A Local and Regional Dry Van Drivers in Indianapolis, IN and the Midwest.
Local Compensation
- $45,000 – $55,000 average annual salary
- Bonuses are paid on every pick-up, delivery, and day worked and they increase over time!
- Average of 1,800 miles per week
- Starting pay averages between $.48 – $.52 CPM
- Base is $.40 CPM
- $10 paid on every pick-up, delivery, and $10/day worked for every week you work 5 days.
- After 6 months, pay averages between $.50 – $.57 CPM
- $10 paid on every pick-up and delivery. The daily bonus increases to $15.
- Drivers now earn a percentage of all revenue generated by their truck.
- After 12 months, pay averages between $.52 – $.60 CPM
- $10 paid on every pick-up and delivery. The daily bonus increases to $20.
- Drivers earn a percentage of all revenue generated by their truck. The percentage increases as revenue on the truck increases.
- Other bonuses include:
- $1,000 Sign-On Bonus
- $500 Employee Referral Bonus
- $50 Clean Inspection Bonus
- Safety Bonus – Up to $650/year
Regional Compensation
- $60,000 – $65,000 average annual salary
- Bonuses are paid on every pick-up, delivery, and day worked and they increase over time!
- Average of 2,800 miles per week
- Starting pay averages between $.48 – $.52 CPM
- Base is $.40 CPM

Routes & Schedule
- Local Drivers
- Home Nightly
- Monday through Friday – no weekends
- Regional Drivers
- Sunday through Friday or Monday through Saturday schedule
- Route: Throughout the regional Midwest and some Southeastern states
- Level of Touch: No touch freight (bumping docks)
- Take the truck home program
Equipment
- Freightliner Cascadias – 2017 and newer
- Automatic and manual transmission trucks
Minimum Requirements
- One (1) year experience of driving commercial trucks.
- CDL A License with air brakes endorsement.
- Must be at least 22 years of age.
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- No more than 2 DOT preventable accident in the past 3 years. All accidents will be reviewed.
- Must be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and road test.
- Local Drivers must reside within 60 miles of Indianapolis
- Regional Drivers must reside within any of the following states: IN, OH, KY, IL, TN, MO, MI, KS.
